Email Notifications Setup

Receive SignalViper alerts directly to your email inbox, even when you're away from TradingView.

Enabling Email Alerts

1. Open TradingView and go to your account settings
2. Navigate to the "Notifications" section
3. Ensure your email address is verified
4. Enable "Email notifications for alerts"

When Creating Alerts

When setting up any alert, make sure the "Send email" checkbox is selected in the notifications section of the alert dialog.

Email Content

Alert emails include:

• The symbol and timeframe
• The alert condition that triggered
• The price at trigger time
• A link to the chart
• Any custom message you added to the alert

Custom Alert Messages

You can customize what appears in your alert emails by editing the "Message" field when creating an alert. Use TradingView variables like:

• {{ticker}} - Symbol name
• {{close}} - Current price
• {{time}} - Alert time
• {{interval}} - Timeframe

Tips

• Check your spam folder if alerts aren't arriving
• Add TradingView to your email whitelist
• Use "Once Per Bar Close" to reduce alert frequency
