Installing Indicators on NinjaTrader 8

SignalViper indicators for NinjaTrader 8 are delivered as a zip file containing NinjaScript add-on files. Here's how to install and activate them.

Prerequisites

• An active SignalViper subscription
• NinjaTrader 8 installed on your computer
• Your license key (found in your Whop dashboard)

Step 1: Download the Indicators

1. Download the NinjaTrader 8 indicators: SignalViper-NT8.zip
2. Save the file to a location you can easily find (like your Downloads folder)

Step 2: Import into NinjaTrader 8

1. Open NinjaTrader 8
2. Go to Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On...
3. Navigate to where you saved the SignalViper-NT8.zip file
4. Select the zip file and click Open
5. Click OK on the import confirmation dialog
6. Wait for the import to complete

Step 3: Add Indicators to Your Chart

1. Open any chart in NinjaTrader 8
2. Right-click on the chart and select "Indicators..."
3. In the Indicators window, scroll down to find indicators starting with "SignalViper"
4. Select the indicator you want to add
5. Click the arrow button (or double-click) to add it
6. Click OK to apply

Step 4: Activate Your License

When you first add a SignalViper indicator to your chart, you'll need to enter your license key:

1. Find your license key in your Whop dashboard (it looks like S-XXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXX)
2. In the indicator settings, paste your license key into the "LicenseKey" field
3. Click OK to apply the indicator
4. If valid, the indicator will display normally on your chart

License Persistence

Once activated, your license is saved locally. You won't need to enter it again unless you:

• Reinstall NinjaTrader
• Move to a new computer
• Delete your NinjaTrader Documents folder

Troubleshooting

Import Failed

If the import fails, make sure you're importing the .zip file directly without extracting it first. NinjaTrader expects the compressed zip file.

License Invalid Error

If you see a license error:

• Double-check that you copied the complete license key (including the S- prefix)
• Verify your subscription is active in your Whop dashboard
• Make sure you're using your License Key (S-xxx-xxx-xxx), not your Membership ID

Indicators Not Appearing

If indicators don't appear after import:

• Restart NinjaTrader 8
• Check the Log tab in NinjaTrader's Control Center for any errors
• Try re-importing the zip file
