Snap: Divergence Detection

Snap warns you when a move is losing steam and a reversal is likely. Get out before the crowd and protect your profits.

What Snap Does

Snap detects divergences and exhaustion patterns that often precede reversals. When price makes a new high but the underlying momentum doesn't confirm, Snap alerts you to the potential danger.

Key Features

  • Divergence Detection - Spots bullish and bearish divergences
  • Exhaustion Warnings - Alerts when trends are overextended
  • Visual Markers - Clear on-chart annotations
  • Multi-Timeframe - Works on any timeframe

Types of Signals

Bearish Divergence

Price makes a higher high, but momentum doesn't confirm. This suggests the uptrend may be weakening and a reversal could be coming.

Bullish Divergence

Price makes a lower low, but momentum doesn't confirm. This suggests the downtrend may be weakening and a bounce could be coming.

Exhaustion Zones

Areas where price has moved too far too fast. These often precede pullbacks or reversals.

Best Practices

  • Use Snap warnings as profit-taking signals in existing trades
  • Look for Snap signals at Fangs zones for reversal trade entries
  • Higher timeframe Snap signals are more significant
  • Combine with Rush momentum fading for confirmation

Settings

  • Sensitivity - Low/Normal/High controlling how many divergences are detected
  • Show Divergence Lines - Toggle lines connecting divergence pivots
  • Show Danger Zones - Toggle background highlighting for exhaustion areas
